Stud fin tube is made by electrical Resistance welding specially formed Studs(Round pins ) in rows around the tube. The Studs can be supplied in a variety of Sizes and shapes. Also named pin fin tube.Stud tube have a very high heat transfer efficiency.The heat exchange efficiency is equivalent to 2-3 times that of the bare pipe.

High Frequency Welded fin tube also called solid type fin tube,use steel or stainless steel strip directly welded to tube surface by HFW.Can improving heat transfer efficiency much more than bare tube.Due to the tight welding of the fins to the base tube, these finned tubes are often used in vibrating conditions.Fin type have Serrated fin and flat fin.

High accuracy Laser welded fin tube same with HFW fin tube,use steel or stainless steel strip directly welded to tube surface but by high accuracy laser welded.Welding penetration is nealy100% between fin and tube

L type fin tube, The fin is helically wound around the base tube forming a strong mechanical contact between the tube and fin, thus improving the heat transfer efficiency.Also named Wrap On fin tube. This also give considerable corrosion protection to the base tube.

KL type fin tube same as L fin tube,except that the base tube is knurled before application of the fin foot.Also named Wrap On Knurled type fin tube.After application,the fin foot is knurled into the corresponding knurling on the base tube thereby enhancing the bond between fin and tube,Resulting in improved heat transfer efficiency.

LL fin tube Same as L fin except the fin foot is overlapped giving more corrosion protection. Also named Over Lapped fin tube. The fin is helically wound around the base tube forming a strong mechanical contact between the tube and fin, thus improving the heat transfer efficiency.This type of finned tube is often used as an alternative to the more expensive extruded type fin in corrosive environments.

Spiral fin tube,use carbon steel or stainless steel strip direct spiral in tube surface for improving heat transfer efficiency.Fin bottom touch tube surface but not bonded together,keep by Tension of the steel belt itself, both end fins can be permanently bonded to the tube by using solder.Cost is low than HFW fin tube.Also named Crimped fin tube.

G fin tube,the fin strip is wound into a machined groove on the tube surface and securely locked into place by back filling with base tube material.Also named imbedded fin tube. G fin tube have exceptional heat transfer efficiency at higher tube metal temperature.

Low fin tube forming short fins in tube wall that greatly increase the surface area over smooth tube. The fins are Integral formed into the tube wall so the outside diameter of the fins are not larger than the pre-finned smooth tube.

Bimetal Extruded Fin tube, use base tube insert Aluminium tube, directly extruded the Aluminium into wanted fin specification. Fin and tube surface are tight touch thus improving the heat transfer efficiency. This also give considerable corrosion protection to the base tube.
